1. About these terms
These terms apply to this website and to Gatsby Evening, an event organised by Nielsen Design Group Ltd., 1500 West 2nd Avenue, Suite 300, Vancouver, BC V6H 3Y4, Canada ("we", "us"). By using the website or attending the evening, you accept them.
2. The organiser and the venue
Gatsby Evening is organised and sold by us and hosted at River Cree Resort & Casino, 300 East Lapotac Blvd, Enoch, Alberta. The resort is the host venue; it does not operate this website. Rooms, restaurants and other services of the resort are provided by the resort under its own terms.
3. Age
The evening is for adults aged 18 and over. Government-issued photo ID may be requested at the door, and anyone who appears to be under 25 will be asked for it. Entry is refused without valid ID. Guests enrolled in the AGLC Self-Exclusion Program are not admitted.
4. Tickets
- A ticket is $420 per guest, plus applicable taxes, and covers the dinner, the show and access to the ballroom until close.
- Sending the R.S.V.P. form is a request, not a booking. A ticket exists only once our events team confirms it by email.
- No payment is taken on this website. Payment details and the cancellation and refund terms are sent to you in writing before you pay.
- Tickets are personal to the guests named in the confirmation and may not be resold.
5. The tables
- The tables at Gatsby Evening are played with play-money chips only.
- Every guest receives the same stack at no charge. Chips cannot be bought, sold, traded or exchanged.
- Nothing is staked, and no prize of monetary value is awarded.
- Dealers run their tables, and their decisions on the rules of play are final for the evening.
6. Conduct
We want every guest to enjoy the evening. We and the venue may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone who is intoxicated, abusive, disruptive or in breach of the venue's rules, without a refund where the conduct is serious. Alcohol is served by the venue in line with Alberta law.
7. Changes to the evening
The programme described on this website is a guide. We may adjust details such as the order of the evening or the room within the resort. If an evening is cancelled or moved by us, you may choose a new date or a full refund of the ticket price.
8. The website
We keep the information on this website accurate and current, but it may change before an evening. Images on the website are illustrations of the Jazz Age mood of the evening, not photographs of the venue. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
9. Liability
We are responsible for the evening we organise, within the limits allowed by law. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for services provided by the venue or other third parties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection law of your province.
10. Intellectual property
The text, design and illustrations of this website belong to us or are used with permission. The names of the resort and of River Cree are used only to identify the host venue.
